YARD’s Concludes Cleaning Campaigns in the Affected Areas of Shabwah Gov

As part of its efforts to combat cholera epidemic and limit the spread of diseases, YARD concluded today, Tuesday, July 30, the cleaning campaigns in the districts of Ataq, Habban and Radhum in Shabwa Governorate, in cooperation with the Cleaning Office of Shabwah. These efforts included implementing 7 cleaning campaigns in the targeted districts. The activity comes within an integrated series of WASH activities YARD is currently implementing in the targeted areas of the governorate in partnership with Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF). The cleaning campaigns aimed to eliminate garbage piles, waste accumulations and solid materials polluting the environment in the affected areas. These efforts contributed to limiting the spread of cholera and created a healthy and safe environment in the areas of the displaced and host communities.
