Safe Space for Women and Girls in Al-Jawf Governorate

As part of the project to enhance protection services, camp coordination and management, and education for vulnerable people in Al-Jawf Governorate, in Khab and Al-Sha'af District, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), and in recognition of the vital role women play in society, Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development (YARD) has established a safe space for women and girls. This space offers the following activities:

   - Community awareness programs.

   - Training courses and activities in various fields (sewing, embroidery, threading, painting, knitting).

   - Psychosocial support.

   - Case management and external referrals.

   - Emergency cash assistance as part of case management.

   - Multi-purpose cash assistance.

   - Economic empowerment and livelihood improvement.

This aims to provide a supportive and secure environment for women and girls, promoting their empowerment and enhancing their role in the community.
