Due to the recent escalation of the conflict and the frontline’s activation Bart Al Anan (Al Qaif, Eafi, Hadbat Al Jaeid, Habas areas) and in Khab Wa Sha’af (Al Yattamah, Al Dhamanah, Al Ashah) in Al-Jawf and Mar’ib Govt. The security situation has been increasingly aggravated in which more than thousand were forced to flee suddenly and without any previous warning from their homes seeking a safe place to settle in.
Meanwhile, through different sources including SCMCHA representatives at the districts level, CBPN members, CCCM sites coordinators, and key informants in Al Jawf governates 4108 HHs were recently registered and verified as displaced/affected household, yet they were found experiencing critical humanitarian needs and some of them still residing there in open areas with lack access to Shelter, Water, Food, and the most basic services.
Responding to the situation, YARD responded to displaced families by distributing 4108 RRM Kits, targeting about 23,023 Ind. where the registration and verification process is still ongoing in the other areas to avoid any delay in the Rapid Response.
