Inauguration of Livelihood Activity (Livestock and Fodder Distribution) in AL Hazm District, AL Jawf Gov.

On Sunday, March 31,2024, Yemen AL khair Foundation for Relief and Development (YARD) has launched the distribution activity of sheep for 18 women and girls heads of households in AL Hazm district. The activity was funded by UNHCR and implemented in coordination with SCMCHA Sub office in AL Jawf governorate. Each BNF was provided with three female sheep and one male in addition to 80 Kg. of fodder. The supplied sheep were checked by veterinarian prior to the distribution under the supervision of agriculture office in district. This activity was implemented within the social activities of Protection Shelter, NFIs and CCCM project and aimed at empowering vulnerable women heads of households access an income source to support their families. The activity will economically empower the vulnerable women and encourage them improve their income and access essential needs for their children.
