YARD CCCM Team Conducts the Awareness Campaign for IDPs in Al-Jawf Governorate.
On Thursday 25th of March 2021, YARD, in coordination with SCMCHA office in Al-Jawf governorate, implemented wide awareness campaign among IDPs, specifically those residing in camps, including COVID-19 Precautionary Measures, Personal Hygiene and Fire Safety Precaution Guidance in Al-Jawf governorate.
In the course of this campaign, the IDPs got introduced to the right hygienic practices e.g. hand washing all times, ensuring social distances, avoiding covering or sneezing on other’s face by using one of the arms to cover the nose and maintaining best personal hygiene.
In addition, the campaign included fire safety precautionary guidance, not limited to, sleeping while fire heating is on, keeping away any fire catching equipment in or out the tents, such as gas pipes or any petroleum liquids as well as keeping all firing machines/tools far from the reach of children.
It is worth noting that educational posters were distributed, showing possible safety and precautionary measures on COVID-19, Hand Washing, and Fire Safety in the IDP Camps.
