On Sunday, August 29, Mr. Abdullah al-Hadi, the representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), conducted a field visit to inspect the progress of the non-food items distribution process (NFIs) for 1,037 of the IDPs and affected community in Al-Khalaq district of Al-Jawf governorate. Naji Mareq the community center manager, the district's director and SCMCHA representative Nasser Abu Zor, accompanied by number of public figures in the district were there to welcome Mr. Al-Hadi.
This activity is part of the IDPs Community Centre for Protection, Shelter and CCCM Project implemented by Yemen Al-Khair Relief and Development Foundation (YARD) - funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and in coordination with the SCMCHA and the authorities in the district. During the visit, the representative of UNHCR visited the warehouses, tracked the exchange process, met with the beneficiaries and discussed their needs.
In conclusion, the visiting team thanked Yemen Al-Khair Foundation for their remarkable efforts.
