Ms. Milena Ponsoni the Protection Associate of UNHCR Sa'ada Hub conducted a field visit to monitor and observe the workflow of YARD's IDPs Community Center in Al-Marashi district of Al-Jawf governorate on Wednesday 8th of Sep 2021. Eng. Abdullah Thawabah YARD's Chairman, Mr.Naji Mareg the Community center manager, Mr. Adnan Al-Qahm the district director, SCMCHA representative along with YARD protection team were there to welcome the UNHCR protection team. The main purpose of the visit was to observe the IDPs Community Center work mechanism and discuss the common challenges that face the field team. After the observation tour, an extended meeting was held in the Community Center to discuss the humanitarian needs in the area and the implemented activities that mitigate the burden of the IDPs living, mentioning that process of the humanitarian activities funded by UNHCR ,and implementing by YARD are regularly ongoing.
Eventually, the UNHCR team expressed their gratitude to YARD's IDPs CC team's effort.
