UNHCR Team of Saada and Al-Jawf Branch on an Inspection Visit to Check the Progress of Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) in Al-Jawf Governorate

From Monday, 13th Dec to Wednesday, 15th Dec. 2021, UNHCR team conducted a three-days inspection visit to Al-Jawf governorate to observe the progress of the Community Centre for IDPs and the affected community, within the activities of protection, emergency shelter and CCCM project carried out by YARD and funded by UNHCR. 

YARD's Chairman, the Director of the Community Center, SCMCHA representatives and some engineers in the project and the public figures of the area were there to welcome the delegation. The visiting delegation hovered between Hamidat, Al-Hazm and Al-Mattammah districts to observe the progress of the rehabilitation works of the Salal water project and the activity of adding two Classrooms in Al Wehda School.

On the second day, the visiting team went to the Al-Hazm district to check the progress of the IDPs tents distribution and installation, in addition to inspecting the functioning of the Ayed water point system. On the third day, the visiting team visited the Civil Status Office in Al-Hazm district, as well as an inspection visit to Al-Matamma to monitor the rehabilitation works of Al-Muttaraf water project.
