YARD, the SCMCHA and the Local Authority Participate in the Receipt of Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) in Al-Jawf Governorate
On 18th of Jan., 2022, Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation(YARD), local authority of Al Jawf and the Supreme Council for Management and coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in their field visit for the initial settlements of 8 projects with Quick Impact Projects within the activities of the community center of the Protection, shelters and shelters and CCCM project funded by UNHCR and implemented by YARD. The Quick Impact Projects were implemented in different districts of Al-Jawf governorate, such as following:
WASH Sectors:
Al-Hazm District – Aal Aydh Water Project : Supply, installation and operation of a solar-operated pumping unit.
Al Mattammah District – Al-Mutarraf Water Project: Supply, installation and operation of a solar-operated pumping unitconstructing a Control Room
Al-Humaidat District – Al-Sulal Water Project: Supply, installation and operation of a solar-operated pumping unitConstructing a Control Room
Barat Al-Anan District - Al Wadiain Water Project:
Supply, installation and operation of a solar-operated pumping unit
constructing torrents preventive barriers and well cover
construction of a circular concrete water tank.
Barat Al-Anan District - Habah Water Project:
Supply, installation and operation of a solar-operated pumping unit
Constructing torrents preventive barriers and well cover
Construction of a circular concrete water tank.
Barat Al-Anan District - Jezer Water Project:
Supply, installation and operation of a solar-operated pumping unit
constructing torrents preventive barriers and well cover
construction of a circular concrete water tank.
Education Sector:
Al-Humaidat District – Al-Wehdah School Project : Construction of two additional class room with their supplies/furniture.
Barat Al-Anan District – Al- Rehab School : Construction of two additional class room with their supplies/furniture
In the meantime, the Governor of Al-Jawf Governorate, Mr. Faisal bin Haidar, visited a water project in Al-Hamidat district, praising the role of the Yemen Al-Khair Foundation in these sustainable interventions, stressing the provision of more service and basic projects that benefit IDPs and affected communities.
