Completion of BHKs, Filters and Water Tanks Distribution to the Targeted Population in Al-Jawf Governorate.

Within the WASH emergency interventions project, funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), YARD has successfully completed the activities of distributing Basic Hygiene Kits (BHKs), in addition to filters and plastic water tanks to the displaced and affected communities in the targeted districts of Al-Jawf Governorate.

It worth mentioning that during January and February 2022, the activity of distributing BHKs was completed in Al-Khalq, Al-Zahir and Al-Hazm districts, targeting 5,000 families in the aforementioned districts. Regarding to that, the last period of January and February witnessed the distribution of 522 plastic tanks with a capacity of 2000 liters and 1000 liters to the displaced and affected communities of Bart Al Anan, Khab wa Asha`af districts. The activity also included targeting health facilities in the various districts of Al Jawf Governorate.

These activities come as part of the Foundation's efforts aimed at limiting the spread of diseases and epidemics among societies, especially in light of the current living conditions affected by the conditions of the ongoing conflict for the seventh year in a row.
