Completion of Construction and Rehabilitation Works for Al-Bakhita and Al-Rawd Al Sharqi Water Projects

As part of the WASH Emergency intervention implemented by YARD, and within its plan for the year 2022, the rehabilitation and construction works of Al Bakhita water projects in Al-Maton district, as well as the Al-Rawd Al Sharqi project in the Al-Khalq-M district, have been completed.

On Sunday, March 1, 2022, YARD Chairman attended the event of the initial receipt of the works implemented in the two projects, which was implemented by the Yemen Al-Khair Foundation within the WASH emergency interventions, funded by (UNICEF). The representatives of GARWSP and local authority of Al-Jawf Governorate attended and participated in the event.

It is noteworthy that the two projects aim to provide nearly 5,000 beneficiaries with potable water and alleviate the suffering experienced by the targeted  population in fetching water from remote places, especially women and children.
