Representatives of UNHCR Country Team of Yemen and the Accompanying Delegation on an Inspection Visit to YARD IDPs Community Center in Al-Marashi District of Al-Jawf Governorate

 The Country office team of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) conducted an inspection visit to review the progress of the activities of the community center for IDPs in Al-Jawf Governorate - on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

YARD Chairman, the director of the community center, representatives of the office of SCMCHA in the governorate, and a number of social figures in the governorate where there to welcome the delegation.

An expanded meeting was held under the chairmanship of YARD's Chairman. The meeting discussed a number of points related to the protection, shelter, and CCCM project. On the other hand, it also discussed the progress of implementing the project’s activities according to the specified time frame. The visiting team visited the offices of the community center to see the progress of the work mechanism. Additionally, the director of the community center reviewed a short video on the mechanism of the case management.

 

At the conclusion of the visit, the visiting team members expressed their thanks for the efforts made by the community center team in providing IDPs, affected communities and the host communities with humanitarian aids.
