UNICEF on an Inspection Visit to Water Projects in Al-Jawf Governorate, Al-Hazm District

On Sunday 5/6/2022, Mr. Ghassan Madhiyah- the director of UNICEF Office in Saada and Al-Jawf HUB, and Eng. Anis Al-Arashi - WASH Officer, visited Al-Hazm and Al-Khirba water projects.

 

They were welcomed by Al-Jawf local authorities represented, the Director of SCMCHA, the Director of WSLC, the Director of GARWSP and the Director of NWRA.

 

Eng. Abdullah Thawabah, the head of Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD), thanked UNICEF for its sustainable projects, the most important of which is Al Hazm Water Project, which contains (supply and installation of three solar-powered systems - control room - water treatment unit - completion of the water tank – completion of the water network).

 

 It is worth mentioning that during the visit, UNICEF representative and other related authorities were briefed on the project's achievements, WSLC and YARD were praised for their efforts to implement and achieved this project.
