The UNHCR Team – Sa’ada and Al-Jawf Branch - on an Inspection Visit to Review the Progress of Quick Impact Projects (QIPs)
On Monday, June 27th, 2022, a team from the UNHCR's Saada and Al-Jawf branch visited Al-Jawf Governorate (Kharab AlMarashi and Bart Al-Anan districts) to inspect the QIPs progress and the maintenance activities that were implemented by YARD within the Protection, Shelter/NFI and CCCM to UNHCR persons of concern in Al-Jawf Governorate-Yemen Project, funded by UNHCR.
The director of the IDPs Community Center, the local authority, SCMCHA representatives, a number of project engineers, dignitaries, and people in charge from the region received the visiting delegation. The visiting delegation visited Barat Al-Anan district to inspect the progress of Al-Baydha Water Project in the city's center as part of QIPs. On the way back, the activities of the IDPs Community Center were inspected, in addition to a visit to the paving point of Rawna Mathab camp road in Kharab Al-Marashi district.
At the conclusion of their visit, the visiting delegation praised the project team's field work and complimented and thanked the local authorities and SCMCHA for maintaining all available facilities.
