YARD Conducts a Refresher Workshop for the Community Based Protection Network Members in Al-Jawf Governorate

Within the activities of the IDPs Community Center, the Protection, Shelter/NFI and CCCM to UNHCR persons of concern in Al-Jawf Governorate-Yemen Project, funded by UNHCR and in SCMSHA, YARD held a refresher workshop for all members of the Community Based Protection Network (CBPNs) for all districts in Al-Jawf Governorate, during August 11 and 14, 2022.
The workshop aimed to revitalize the abilities of the 31 members of the Community Protection Network in the districts of Al-Jawf Governorate. During the workshop, the participants received an introductory overview of the activities of the community center and the services it provides (Legal Services, Psychological Support, Cash Assistance, NFIs, shelter, Emergency Cases, Case Management, a detailed explanation of the mechanism for filing reports of new displacement and returnees, coordination with the relevant authorities, and the mechanism for submitting complaints and suggestions). In addition to a number of new additional activities for the project, such as community activities and quick-impact project activities, the Code of Conduct for the principles of humanitarian work, the roles and responsibilities of network members and the importance of participation in raising awareness was also reviewed.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants expressed their thanks to the Foundation and its keenness to raise the abilities of its employees to reach an outstanding performance in the humanitarian field.
