YARD Holds Coordination Meeting with NWSA – Shabwah Gov.

YARD held today’s morning corresponding to May 6, 2024 a coordination meeting with Water and Sanitation Authority (NWSA) of Shabwah governorate at YARD office in Ataq city. The meeting was in participation of NWSA director of Shabwah, YARD executive director and the team of the WASH project YARD is implementing in the targeted areas of the governorate using the fund of Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

The meeting aims to coordinate and share the related information of the construction project of Ataq sanitation system. During the meeting YARD executive director acquainted NWSA director with a brief description about the project clarifying the feasibility and the desired outcomes that are planned to be reached by the construction of the project. On the other hand, NWSA director showed appreciation and gratitude for the efforts exerted by YARD management which will lead to the construction of Ataq sanitation system. He went further explaining the current problem people are suffering from in Ataq city considering the project as a corner stone on the right way to address the current sanitation challenges.
