YARD Inaugurates the Rehabilitation Works of Lahyah Water Supply System in Haban District, Shabwah Governorate

On May 5, 2024, YARD inaugurates rehabilitation works of Lahyah water supply system in Haban district, Shabwah governorate. Rehabilitation works for the targeted water supply system come as part of the Sustainable and Lifesaving WASH Interventions YARD is implementing in the targeted districts of Shabwah governorate in partnership with Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

It is worth remarking that rehabilitation works for the water system include supply and installation of solar system, construction of control room and implementation of the pumping pipeline. The project is planned to serve 4988 individuals as they will be able to access clean and safe water by achieving rehabilitation activities in targeted area of Lahyah in Haban district.
