Under the slogan “Cleanliness is a Fundamental Pillar for Better Health”, YARD Inaugurates Hygiene Kits Distribution in Radum District, Shabwah Gov.

On Sunday, 12 May, 2024, determination and spirits came together to paint a picture of hope in Radum district. With the executive director of YARD, accompanied by the head of GARWSP of Shabwah, Eng. Marwan Ba Rwais, Radum Local authority director Mr. Hadi Al Kharma’ along with the dedicated project team, the inauguration of BHKS was ensured targeting 500 HHs in Arqah area in Radum, Shabwah Gov.

The activity funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), is part of several WASH activities and in coincidence with cleaning campaigns and community HP sessions. YARD through these efforts aims to effectively respond to cholera challenges and eliminate water born diseases, in addition to correcting improper personal hygiene practices.

During the visit, participants expressed their utmost satisfaction and showed their endless support for the noble endeavors of YARD, emphasizing the importance of its role in improving water and sanitation conditions in the governorate, praising the positive impact of these activities in the lives of the affected people within the dire needs for WASH services.
