Solutions and Transformation from Emergency Shelter to more Permanent Transitional Shelter Embodied in Al-Jawf Governorate

In December 2023, Yemen Al-Khair Foundation for Relief and Development (YARD) completed the implementation of the transitional shelter activity for 240 families in Al-Jawf governorate covering the following districts:
100 families in Al Hazm District.
80 families in AL Ghayl District.
60 families in Barat AL Anan district.

The intervention aimed at alleviating the suffering of families living under the shade of damaged temporarily shelters torn apart by the daily harsh weather including winds and rains. This shelter will help the targeted families access stable shelter that can resist the factors of climate change and provide safety and privacy for them.
This intervention comes within the Protection, Shelter, NFIs and CCCM project funded by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and implemented in coordination with the Supreme Council for Managing and Coordinating Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) in AL Jawf Governorate.
