In response to the urgent need for clean drinking water supplies, YARD inaugurated rehabilitation works of Ashobeikah water network in Ataq district. The activity comes within the WASH program which YARD is implementing in Shabwah in partnership with YHF.
The rehabilitation works of the water networks includes implementation of 7,800 meter of network extension with its accessory work, in addition to the construction of ground water tank for the health unit in the targeted area.
Inauguration of implementation works was in participation of Director of LAWSC of Shabwah, in addition to representatives of local authority and targeted community. The WASH assistance in Al Shobeikah area is expected to target 3,780 individuals by getting easy access to clean water supplies.
