Completion of Construction and Furnishing three schools, Bayhan District, Shabwa Governorate
On Saturday, June 9th 2024, Yemen Al-Khair Foundation for Relief and Development (YARD) has finished the implementation and handed over the project of Construction and Rehabilitation of 20 classrooms with 6 bathrooms in three girls' schools in Bayhan District, Shabwa Governorat. The three targeted schools named Balqis, Raydan, and Al-Zahraa that were furnished with 400 double chairs within this project.
This project was funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), in coordination with the relevant authorities and the education office in the governorate.
The project handover process was attended by a number of prominent figures in the governorate, including the Assistant Sub- Governor for the Affairs of the Northern and Western Districts, the Director General of Beihan District, the Director of Education office in the, and the Director of Projects in the Education Office in the Governorate.
This activity comes within the Project of Enhance Education in communities affected by crises in Shabwa Governorate, which aims to improve educational opportunities for children and youth in these areas, and provide a safe educational environment equipped with the modern education equipment.
The completion of this project reflects YARD's commitment to providing the best educational environment for female students, as part of its vision to develop the education sector in Yemen.
