Rehabilitation of the Al-Asha Health Unit in Al-Jawf Governorate

Within the framework of joint humanitarian and development efforts between the local authority, SCMCHA, and the Health Office in Al-Jawf Governorate, and with funding from the YHF, YARD completed the rehabilitation of the Al-Asha Health Unit in Al-Yatmah Sub-district, Khb Wa Sha’af district, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

The rehabilitation included the following works:
 

- Rehabilitation and maintenance of rooms and facilities of the health unit.

- Implementation and installation of a complete solar energy system.

- Construction of a new medical incinerator.

- Maintenance of the main gate and rehabilitation and leveling of the yard.
 

This activity adopted a participatory approach and came within the framework of CCCM activities, to improve infrastructure and provide sustainable health services. It is part of a larger project to enhance protection services, camp management, and education for vulnerable people in the governorate.
