YARD Concludes the Training Workshop for Community Committees Responsible for Management and Operation of Water Supply Systems

In coordination with GARWSP, YARD concluded today, Tuesday, July 30, the training workshop for community committees responsible for management and operation of water supply systems of (Al-Aqeedah-Lahia-Arqa) in Habban and Radhum districts. The workshop aimed at providing participants with the necessary skills and knowledge about the mechanism for management, operation and maintenance of water projects through practical and theoretical lesons and exercises.

18 community members representing 3 community committees participated in the training workshop participated in the training workshop that comes as part of WASH project YARD is implementing in partnership with YHF.

At the end of the workshop, each project committee was given a complete maintenance kit which contains the necessary maintenance tools and equipment that would ensure the sustainability and operation of the projects and provide water supply services to people in the targeted areas.
