Completion of Cash Assistance Distribution in Al-Jawf Governorate for 2024 through the Twelfth Batch
In a significant step towards supporting affected families, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) successfully concluded the distribution of the twelfth batch of Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) for 2024 in Al-Jawf Governorate. Assistance was provided to 655 families, including displaced individuals, affected families, and host communities, with each family receiving 107,000 Yemeni rials through agents of Bank Al-Amal in the targeted districts.
Under the supervision of the Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD), the distribution process lasted for two weeks, starting from Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
These collaborative efforts are part of a protection, shelter/NFIs and Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) project, where the UNHCR and its partner, YARD, work in cooperation with relevant authorities in the governorate to improve the living conditions of affected families as much as possible.
