YARD Distributes Comprehensive Shelter Kits to 300 IDP Families in Al-Jawf Gov

 
Ash Sha’af Sub-district – Khab wa Ash Sha’af District – Al-Jawf Governorate

As part of the Integrated Response Project funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD) distributed comprehensive Non-Food Item (NFI) shelter kits to displaced and affected families in Al-Jawf Governorate.

The kit components per household included:

-  7 blankets, 7 mattresses, and 7 bed sheets.

-  Cooking pots (standard and pressure cookers).

-  5 plates, 5 cups, and 3 soup bowls.

-  5 spoons, 1 knife, and 1 serving spoon.

-  1 teapot and 1 kneading basin.

-  2 buckets, 2 mats, and 1 water thermos.

3 mosquito nets and 1 solar lighting kit.

A total of 300 families benefited from this intervention. These kits were specifically designed with additional items to meet essential needs, significantly improving the daily living conditions of the beneficiaries. The families expressed their deep gratitude for this qualitative response, which helped alleviate their suffering and strengthened their resilience amidst the ongoing humanitarian challenges in Al-Jawf.
