YARD Launches Home Garden Management Training to Enhance Food Security in Shabwah Governorate

Habban District – Shabwah Governorate


As part of the "Food Security Response Enhancement Project," in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD), in coordination with the Shabwah Agriculture and Irrigation Office, launched a specialized training course on home garden management for beneficiaries in Habban District.

The launch, attended by local authorities and agriculture officials, highlighted the project’s role in combating malnutrition and improving daily nutrition for vulnerable families. The initiative benefits approximately 1,000 individuals across the district, providing them with training alongside essential agricultural inputs, including seeds, tools, water tanks, and Drip Irrigation systems.
