YARD Participates in High-Level Consultative Meeting to Strengthen Humanitarian Localization in Aden
Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD) participated in a high-level expanded consultative meeting held in Aden under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Qassem Mohammed Bahibah, Minister of Public Health and Population. Organized in partnership with the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA), the meeting aimed to empower local and national actors within the health and nutrition sectors.
The Minister emphasized that sustainable success relies on genuine partnerships with local organizations. During the event, Eng. Abdullah Naji Thawaba, Sustainable Development Ambassador and Chairman of YARD, met with the Minister of Health and the Deputy Head of the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) office. They discussed YARD’s field interventions and explored strategic ways to enhance national ownership and rehabilitate the health sector to better serve the most vulnerable communities.
