YARD Participates in Environmental and Social Compliance Workshop under FSRRP in Aden

Yemen Al-Khair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD) participated in a training workshop focused on "Enhancing Environmental and Social Compliance and Grievance Mechanism Systems." The workshop was organized under the Yemen Food Security Response and Resilience Project (FSRRP), funded by the World Bank Group and implemented in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The workshop, held at the Coral Hotel in Aden, was inaugurated with the attendance of YARD’s Executive Director, Eng. Jamal BAHAJ, alongside the foundation's technical team. The opening session also featured key dignitaries, including:
- H.E. Eng. Ahmed Al-Housh, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries.
- The Acting FAO Representative in Yemen.
YARD’s participation underscores its steadfast commitment to capacity building and elevating environmental and social compliance standards. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of humanitarian and development interventions while strengthening accountability and community feedback mechanisms. The foundation further emphasized the vital role of such workshops in upgrading institutional performance and fostering strategic partnerships with governmental and international stakeholders to ensure sustainable community development.
