YARD Distributes RRM Kits to IDPs in Al-Rayan Sub-district, Al-Jawf Governorate

On Mon. 2nd Jul. 2020, YARD, as an implementing partner with UNFPA and through Its RRM Team, distributed RRM kits assistance to 1000 HHs.

 

The distribution of the RRM Kits took place in Al-Rayan Sub-district - Khab wa ash  Sha'af District of Al-Jawf governorate.

 

Due to the last escalation in Ber Al-Maraziqq Khab Wa Sha Sha’af district, the situation was terrible in the area as it has been gradually aggravated and caused a huge displacement.

More than1000 HHs displaced from Ber Al-Maraziqq to different sites located in Al-Rayan area which is about 70 KM far.

Al-Rayyan is a deserted area with no basic life needs; source of food, power or even available water source. The road leading to it is filled with dunes. Sands are covering the area and simple wind movements can cause a huge sandstorm.
