In recent weeks, heavy rains have led to a sharp increase in the number of families that affected in Al-Jawf governorate. Heavy rains and floods have washed away already displaced families shelters and belongings such as NFIs, Food stocks, water tanks and other essential life requirements. As a result of this disaster, IDPs started seeking shelter in higher places away from floods where they experience the critical lack of basic humanitarian needs.
On 22nd of Aug 2020, YARD distributed RRM Kits to 473 Floods-affected Households funded by UNFPA in Ash Sha’af sub-district, Al Jawf Gov. Distribution details are outlined as follows:
