YARD Holds a Workshop for 30 Community Volunteers on Raising Community Awareness on Hygiene Good Practices within Emergency WASH Project – Al-Jawf Gov.

YARD held a workshop for 30 Community Hygiene Promotion Volunteers during the period from 9^th to 10^th Sept., 2020. The workshop was about the five hygiene messages as part of Lifesaving Emergency WASH Project funded by UNICEF. During the workshop that was held at YARD Hall in Al-Hazm district, participants were trained on the mechanism of raising awareness among targeted people; the training included visual, written and practical exercises about the messages they are to raise community awareness on, in addition to hygiene promotion other related issues which trainees will work accordingly on during the period September – December, 2020.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Supreme Council for Coordinating Humanitarian Affairs and representatives of the local authority.
