YARD Implements the Distributing of 2500 Hygiene Kits to the IDPs and the Affected Families in Al-Jawf Governorate

Within the activities of WASH Emergency Response Project funded by UNICEF, and in coordination with the local authority and SCHMCHA in Al-Jawf Governorate, YARD distributed 2,500 hygiene kits to the IDPs and affected families in the following districts: (Al-Hazm, Al-Khalq, Al-Ghayl, Al-Maslub, Al-Maton), from 20 to 30 September, 2020.
It is worth noting that the distribution process, in which all preventive measures have been taken against Coronavirus – COVID-19, will continue until the end of September in the aforementioned districts. It should be noted that the distribution process takes place concurrently with conducting community awareness sessions in the target districts by 30 volunteers. That aims at promoting good practices and raising community awareness of the importance of personal hygiene, along with other messages to educate the target communities which will limit the spread of diseases and raise community awareness of safe hygiene-related behaviors.
