Distribution of Hygiene Kits for 570 Families in Sanban Sub-District - Mayfa

YARD distributed 570 hygiene bags to the most needy families in Dhamar Governorate - Mayfa'a Anas District - Sanban district, during the period from 14 to 17 October 2020.

This distribution comes within the Lifesaving WASH, Shelter and CCCM Interventions Project for Conflict-Affected Population, that funded by YHF, and the distribution was made in response to the needs of beneficiaries of the affected families in this region. And due to its paramount importance in promoting and improving environmental sanitation.

The distribution coincided with community awareness sessions aimed at promoting good practices, raising community awareness of the importance of personal hygiene and limiting the spread of epidemics.

It should be noted that the distribution process coincided with the International Day of Handwashing, which corresponds to the fifteenth of October of each year, when awareness messages related to hand washing were spread among the beneficiaries.
