YARD Distributes 990 kits of Non-Food Items (NFIs) to the IDPs and Affected People in Al-Jawf Governorate – Az-Zaher District

The efforts made by YARD IDPs' Community Center in Al-Jawf governorate continued in distributing 990 kits of non-food items (NFIs) to 990 HHs with a total of 8108 individuals during the period of 20 - 25 November, 2020.

This intervention comes within the framework of the activities of Protection and Emergency Shelter Project for the IDPs, affected communities, and the most vulnerable households. The intervention is funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in coordination with (SCHMCHA) General Secretariat in Al-Jawf Governorate.

The distribution process took place, yet undertaking preventive measures to reduce the risk of the spread of the new Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), including social distances and continuous sanitization. On the other hand, an awareness had been conducted on ways of disease spread and means of prevention.
