Mrs. Ra’ofah Saleh Hasssan Zabr is a widow who have run for her life from the district of Khabb wa ash Sha’f, due to the conflict that is taking place among fighting parties, to finally settle down in Rajuzah district. In fact, she has not found alone, but with 30 years old mental retardation status daughter, living in a very tough displacement condition. 

When YARD Team met with Ra’ofah, she started narrating about the experience of her miserable journey from Khabb wa ash Sha’f to Rajuzah, as she was the last one who ran out of the village and where she had to walk for long distances and holding her defeated daughter looking for someone to pick them up. Then at the time of the sunset, they got someone who has a car and who picked them to his house. Then the next morning she has to move again, heading for Rajuzah.

The family haven’t received any assistance yet, since they arrived to Rajuzah, as they seemed in a very dire need for all types of assistance. Accordingly, RRM team has immediately responded with the available assistance, providing the RRM kits. 

Ra’ofah received the granted assistance along with her daughter and they almost have tears in eyes, out of happiness, due to the granted assistance. 

Ra’ofah and her daughter thanked the UNFPA, YARD and every one participated in delivering such assistance.
