Transitional Shelter is Both a Home and a Source of Income

Transitional Shelter becomes a house and a source of income for the family of Mohammed Ali Hassan who has just returned with his eight children from displacement. The family was forced to flee their original location in AL Khalq district due to conflict seeking secured life. When the situation became safe, the family returned to settle under the shade of an old torn tent as they have no house as other families. Mohammed explains their previous suffering saying" We settled under an old damaged tent exposed to daily risks. Our belongings including food, clothes are always dirty due to dust".  Mohammed expressed his full satisfaction and happiness for the constructed transitional shelter in which he now lives with his family. He also used part of the shelter as a small shop to sell foodstuffs, relying on himself serving his family. Mohammed concludes saying "This is a great support I have never got since I was displaced. My family now became safe living in a part of this shelter while we have our source of income in the other".
