On 23rd of Jan 2021, Funded by YHF and within the Project of Life-Saving Interventions for WASH, Shelter and Camp Management in Dhamar and Al-Jawf governorates; YARD has inaugurated Al-Motun center water project in presence of the Mayor of Al-Jawf governorate along with various social and public figures from Al-Maton district who came and attended this important event.
It worth mentioning that the project consists of 3 main components that are constructing a tower tank with 100 m3 capacity along with a control room with its accessories and finally a water network to supply water to the beneficiaries in the targeted area.
The total number of beneficiaries from the mentioned project are 5286 individuals. The project is proposed to witness a second stage of augmentation which will be to extend the water network beside import and install a water treatment unit to ensure having potable water in addition to water for domestic use.
