The activities for rehabilitating damaged houses in the districts of Al-Hazm and Khabb wa Ash Sha’af are part of the protection, shelter, and CCCM project funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and implemented by the Yemen Alkhair for Relief and Development Foundation (YARD) and In coordination with the Supreme Council in the Governorate (SCMSHA).
These activities have achieved significant positive impacts, including:
- Beneficiary Satisfaction: Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the efforts made, reflecting the success of the activity.
- Improved Shelter: After rehabilitation, the project will provide adequate housing that meets the needs of families, contributing to their sense of safety and stability.
In 2024, YARD aimed to rehabilitate 200 houses, including 169 houses in Khabb wa Ash Sha’af district and 31 houses in Al-Hazm district.
It is worth noting that these activities reflect the commitment of the concerned parties to improve the living conditions of the beneficiaries.
