Rehabilitation of Aal Shanan Water Project in Al Matammah District – Al Jawf Gov

Because the old water network of the project became invalid to use as there was leakage of water everywhere along the pipeline causing formation for swamps and water pools. In addition, IDPs and other targeted areas had no access to water in some places within the targeted area. YARD, consequently, responded to the gap in the area through implementing rehabilitation to the network of the water project during the period Feb. – April, 2021. The intervention included replacing the old water network by a new one, instalment of water distribution points and rehabilitating the old iron tank of the project.

It is worth remarking that the implemented works are within the WASH Emergency Water Project funded by UNICEF.
