YARD Completes the Establishment of Water Points and Inaugurates the Supply of Potable Water to Displacement Camps in Shabwah Gov.

Within its efforts in the humanitarian response to the displaced and affected communities in many governorates of the Republic, YARD achieved the implementation of 10 water points in Al-Mudhalal camp in Ataq District, Shabwah Gov. in March 2024. Also, YARD inaugurated the start of supplying clean water to 280 families benefiting from transporting clean water to the camp through supplying water by trucks. The activity aims to as a response to meet the daily needs of families for clean water in light of the scarcity of clean water in the targeted camp.

It is worth noting that this activity is come as part of integrated WASH activities, YARD is implementing in the governorate of Shabwah during 2024 in partnership with YHF.

Inaugural of water supply and handover of implemented works were initiated in participation of representatives of the local authority and the Executive Unit for the displaced, in addition to the beneficiaries committee.
