YARD Completes the Response to the Environmental Sanitation Needs in Al- Mudhalal Camp for the Displaced in Shabwah Gov.

Within the project of provision of life-saving and sustainable WASH services, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), and as part of its efforts to limit the spread of cholera in the affected areas in Shabwah Governorate, YARD completed the construction of 14 emergency latrines in Al-Mudhalal Camp, Ataq District in March 2024. The activity is part of efforts that aim at responding to the spread of cholera and addressing sanitation problems in the affected areas. About 80 individuals representing 12 HHs living in the targeted camp will be benefiting from the activity.

It is worth remarking that handover of the achieved works was ensured to beneficiaries in participation of representatives of local authority of Ataq, in addition to other concerned parties.
