Overview:
Yemen Al-Khair Foundation coordinated this project with the local authorities in Al-Jawf governorate, along with the Shelter Sub-National Cluster - Sa'ada Hub. It was decided to choose the areas of Al-Hazm and Rajouza of al-Jawf governorate, as they are a high priority in the need for shelter materials. 950 HHs (6,650 individuals) will be targeted in implementing the provision of NFIs and Winterization materials. Providing shelter/Bedding materials to 450 HHs in Al-Hazm District, in addition to distributing winterization materials to 500 families in Rajouza District.
Objective:
Providing life-saving Shelter/NFIs assistance for IDPs and acutely conflict-affected host communities in terms of Basic and Winterization, hence with special attention to gender and protection crosscutting issues, including PWD, GBV/SGBV and Muhamasheen. The overall goal is to supporting those IDP and affected host community families, with lack access to shelter and protection both in IDP Camps and in other open/scattered areas to have access to safely, dignified and privacy shelter.
