Enhancing Education for Resilience in Crisis-Affected Communities 2024

With the support of the YHF fund, and taking into consideration the urgent needs in the education sector of the conflict-affected Bayhan district in the Shabwah governorate, YARD has undertaken a project to enhance education in Bayhan district, Shabwah governorate. The project aims to improve the resilience of 3,755 female students in Bayhan's schools by constructing 20 new classrooms in three targeted schools (Balqees, Raydan, and Al Zahra). These classrooms designed to be inclusive and accommodating to students with disabilities, and will also include WASH facilities and school furniture. It also aims to strengthen the education system to deliver quality, inclusive, and protective education for the affected communities.
