Project Aim:
This project tackles the urgent needs of vulnerable individuals impacted by prolonged conflict, displacement, and economic hardship in Ghayl and Khabb Wa Ash Sha'af districts, Al-Jawf Governorate. It employs a multi-sectoral approach focusing on Protection, Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), and Education.
Key Interventions:
Protection - in Ghayl and Khabb Wa Ash Sha'af districts
- Strengthening Protection Systems and Service Delivery.
- Establish Women's and Girls' Safe Spaces (WGSS) in Khabb Wa Sha'af district.
- Establish Child-Friendly Spaces (CFSs) in Al Ghyal district.
- Coordinate and facilitate access to GBV Multi-Sectorial Services.
- Strengthen community-based protection networks.
- Implement mobile teams to reach remote areas.
- Provide Critical Child Protection Services.
- Conduct awareness-raising campaigns and information sharing sessions on protection concerns and available services.
- Provide legal assistance.
- Offer psychosocial support services to individuals affected by violence or trauma.
- Organize life skills, recreational, and vocational activities for targeted beneficiaries.
- Implement capacity building initiatives for NGOs and affected populations.
CCCM - in Khabb Wa Ash Sha'af District.
- Establish and support site committees for camp management and participation in Sawba and Jebalt Alkamees IDPs Camp.
- Set up and maintain infrastructure and facilities in Sawba and Jebalt Alkamees IDPs Camp.
- Facilitate access to humanitarian assistance and protection services for vulnerable households.
Education - in Khabb Wa Ash Sha'af District.
- Establish temporary learning classrooms and WASH facilities catering to affected boys and girls.
- Provide learning materials and supplies.
- Monthly attendance-based allowances to volunteer teachers.
